The Project

Established a network of local organisations offering confidential support and guidance for people arriving and living in Jersey. Rather than each organisation working on its own, the network gives people one confidential place to start, from which they can be directed to the right support.

My Contribution

Built the partnerships that make the service work — bringing local organisations and charities together around a single point of contact so that guidance, signposting and practical help sit in the same conversation.

In Practice

The centre is a free, confidential service. Support covers work, housing, health and immigration, with case workers available for more personal problems, regular drop-in sessions around the island, and links into local social groups and community activities so that people build friendships as well as finding answers.
